Angelino Bautista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Manchester City getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alfonso Albanesi hit a great ball. The corner led Manchester City's Felix Senin to fire away a dangerous shot which Eleuterio Rios despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 34th minute Luciano Gonzalez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Bautista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
