In the 20th minute, Delmar Rafe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernan Maju stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eulalio Urko's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Errando in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Maju prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alonzo Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Errando's late challenge caught a Guido's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Errando helped the player get up and apologised. Despite being the better team, Club Atletico Alumni failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
