Spectators: 6738 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 0) Chapaleofú's Julian Erruki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Horacio Argüello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ceferino Cucao having to make a save. José Carlos Isern struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Ceferino Cucao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Topeño Rosario Int 2. Ceferino Cucao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Argüello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Louis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Topeño Rosario Int 2 fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Topeño Rosario Int 2's Horacio Argüello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Argüello in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceferino Cucao saved Chapaleofú from getting behind. A collision led to Chapaleofú getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Prudencio Salvadore hit a great ball. Julio Lohitzun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Erruki in the 29th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Chapaleofú got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Ekialde. In the 41st minute, Fausto Silvagni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ceferino Cucao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darien Barba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Silvagni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Cucao having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 54th minute, Serafin Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceferino Cucao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Argüello's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Pedro Isern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. German Celino, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Topeño Rosario Int 2 getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. José Carlos Isern hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, Topeño Rosario Int 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Isern to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Topeño Rosario Int 2 defense, Erasmo Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Lohitzun. The Topeño Rosario Int 2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Lohitzun should have stopped the shot. Ceferino Cucao made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Benito Checa sent off a good shot on target. Ceferino Cucao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Checa's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Fausto Silvagni charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Silvagni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Topeño Rosario Int 2's Fausto Silvagni got a free kick in the 75th minute. A collision led to Topeño Rosario Int 2 getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Fausto Silvagni hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes Topeño Rosario Int 2 got a freekick which was hit by Benito Checa. Erasmo Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Benito Checa put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ceferino Cucao. If Benito Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When José Carlos Isern came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Topeño Rosario Int 2 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Carlos Isern couldn't finish the play. Chapaleofú's Ceferino Cucao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Chapaleofú from getting a goal against them.
