The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Ceferino Matthew's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eustaquio Elizardo was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Maximo Gurutz kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Ceferino Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cadillo AFC booed when Sauce AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Regis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Udalaitz in the 20th minute of play forced Sauce AFC's goalkeeper Venancio Eudoxio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Justino Salomone notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cadillo AFC's Eustaquio Elizardo. Eustaquio Elizardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cosme Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvio Bieito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Sauce AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceferino Matthew to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Narciso Valerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th match minute, Cadillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Eudoxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Udalaitz in the 58th minute of the match. Salvador Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Salvador Quintana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Venancio Eudoxio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cadillo AFC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Elizardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute Ceferino Matthew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceferino Matthews short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Eustaquio Elizardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 84 in the game by Ceferino Matthew from a close distance when the talented Eustaquio Elizardo managed to make a qualified save. Cadillo AFC's players were relieved. When Justino Salomone came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Sauce AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Salomone couldn't finish the play. Ceferino Matthew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sauce AFC's Venancio Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Udalaitz in the 90th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natalio Inge in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Eudoxio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvio Bieito struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Eustaquio Elizardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauce AFC. The Cadillo AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sauce AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
