Severiano Matro might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogelio Pierres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Matro ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to José Mármol City getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Horacio Bernat hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Aureliano Virila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmacio Oriol was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Rogelio Pierres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Matro in the 46th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Virila to strike the kick off in the second half. When Elpidio Montrel fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored José Mármol City's protests and gave Elpidio Montrel a yellow card for diving instead. Elpidio Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, José Mármol City's goalkeeper Dalmacio Oriol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Leobardo.
