Thropos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Rafel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albano Bilbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Urritz in the 29th minute of the match. Adan Txartiko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Ignado's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Albano Bilbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Xabat in the 34th minute of play. Alonzo Eliu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albano Bilbo. MUNICIPALES FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ramon Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Txartiko having to interfere. When Omar Lartaun fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thropos FC's protests and gave Omar Lartaun a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 played minutes Thropos FC got a freekick which was hit by Omar Lartaun. 47 minutes into the match, Bruno Ignado notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Thropos FC's Adan Txartiko. Adan Txartiko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Norberto Haimar scored 5-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adan Txartiko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, MUNICIPALES FC's Jeronimo Salomone got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Ofelio in the 64th minute of play forced Thropos FC's goalkeeper Adan Txartiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Paolo Gorosti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Ruben Cuarto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thropos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MUNICIPALES FC the free kick. 74 minutes into the game, Bruno Ignado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Adan Txartiko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thropos FC's Daniel Rafel got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MUNICIPALES FC's Albano Bilbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save MUNICIPALES FC from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Norberto Haimar notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Thropos FC's Adan Txartiko. Adan Txartiko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Narciso Urritz came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Albano Bilbo could save by the left post. If Paolo Gorosti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. MUNICIPALES FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
