Hernan Burutzagi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Tiso having to interfere. Hernan Burutzagi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute Hernan Burutzagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Tiso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Green Series was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Astrada to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Joaquin Jakue shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urbano Tiso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Robert Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Astrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Urbano Tiso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Berreta's zone, Hernan Burutzagi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Tiso came out of the goal and Hernan Burutzagi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Astrada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Mantzio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Green Series's Sebastian Jordy quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Arjen Kruijs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Aguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Hernan Burutzagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Tiso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Orlanda was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Berreta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Maiorga to maneuver through the defense. Robert Lawrence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Urbano Tiso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Berreta's Felipe Maiorga got a free kick in the 71st minute. Arjen Kruijs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Urbano Tiso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hernan Burutzagi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 79 minute of play. When Hernan Burutzagi came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Green Series fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Burutzagi couldn't finish the play. Green Series made a substitution. Niceto Toribio replaced Ermegildo Astrada. Green Series played a much better game than Berreta and deserved their victory. The Berreta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
