Spectators: 6407 (Terracing: 5407, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Yerba FC's Enrique Mergildo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santo Artizar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Jago in the 10th minute. Fulbito's Javier Bordat pulled a muscle in his leg after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Fulbito's Rodrigo Txaran was substituted for Javier Bordat. In the 17th minute, Arsenio Ibañez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prospero Jago in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Artizar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Fulbito defense, Enrique Mergildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Gitano. The Fulbito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Gitano should have stopped the shot. Armando Furman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santo Artizar came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Fulbito's Saverio Llope. But to his dismay, Saverio Llope quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Yerba FC's zone, Saverio Llope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Artizar came out of the goal and Saverio Llope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 played minutes Fulbito got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Felipo. Armando Furman took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Gitano. Leopoldo Gitano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prospero Jago to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Saverio Llope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Artizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Jago in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santo Artizar saved Yerba FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Saverio Llope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fulbito's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Llope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Artizar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yerba FC's Santo Artizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Jago in the 64th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Yerba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Jago came free, but Santo Artizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes, Cornelio Leoiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fulbito and the Yerba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cornelio Leoiar hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Armando Furman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Armando Furman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopoldo Gitano. The goal made the score 1-3. Santo Artizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Jago in the 83rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Prospero Jago sped through Yerba FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santo Artizar. After having played for 87 minutes, Saverio Llope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fulbito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Llope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute Armando Furman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Yerba FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
