Anibal Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristobal Llanos in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. If Melquiades Jeraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes submarino got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Eneko. Cristobal Llanos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Arnulfo Jakes managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Club Atletico San Manuel's Cristobal Llanos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th minute, Melquiades Jeraldo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arnulfo Jakes, passed just outside the right post. Melquiades Jeraldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melquiades Jeraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Jakes having to interfere. Cristobal Llanoss short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Arnulfo Jakes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 44th minute Abelardo Moise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 55th match minute, submarino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Tolino to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Melquiades Jeraldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abelardo Moise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Club Atletico San Manuel's Anibal Ferdinand got control of the ball when Eleuterio Tolino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match, Eleuterio Tolino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Anibal Ferdinand was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 83 minutes into the match, Club Atletico San Manuel's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Moise came free, but Anibal Ferdinand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Cristofor hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. submarino's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
