Arnulfo Jakes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eleuterio Tolino struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Maximino Maties showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Moise, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After the first half Chapuy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Moise stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. submarino's Arnulfo Jakes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Clemencin in the 53rd minute of play. Albano Laurgain in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnulfo Jakes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aristides Clemencin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristides Clemencin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Peli during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, submarino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Peli to maneuver through the defense. Saverio Reyes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Fabricio Deunoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnulfo Jakes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Evaristo Botello hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in submarino's zone, Fabricio Deunoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Jakes came out of the goal and Fabricio Deunoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnulfo Jakes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabricio Deunoro went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute Eleuterio Tolino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Maties saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Tipi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Eleuterio Tolino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
