In the 29th minute Denis Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Lazcano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Albano Sayveon in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nueva Chicago's Roque Pacifico. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingos Ikatz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anastasio Loramendi's late challenge caught a Kampuchea FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nueva Chicago. The referee gave Kampuchea FC a penalty, 78 minutes into the game.
