Cleto Lano struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Marciano Garikoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Almafuerte. Tatu Glad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Marciano Garikoitz made a huge save. Marciano Garikoitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tatu Glad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Cipriano Gar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Abecia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. When Tatu Glad came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Club Atletico Almafuerte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tatu Glad couldn't finish the play. Tatu Glad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Marciano Garikoitz made a huge save. Juan Abecia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Gar in the 38th minute of the match. Club Atletico Almafuerte's Juan Abecia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Gar in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Lano to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to nigeria getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Venancio Haitz hit a great ball. Juan Abecia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Gar, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. nigeria's Cipriano Gar got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrique Seme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Almafuerte's zone, Enrique Seme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Abecia came out of the goal and Enrique Seme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atletico Almafuerte's Ariel Cordarryl was substituted for Tatu Glad. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Gaxan during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Almafuerte's Oscar Gaxan got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute nigeria were awarded a corner. Venancio Haitz went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Evelio Cutberto advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 72nd minute. Marciano Garikoitz came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Almafuerte's Ariel Cordarryl. But to his dismay, Ariel Cordarryl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. nigeria's Marciano Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Lano in the 80th minute of play. The Club Atletico Almafuerte support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
