Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erasmo Henry got the match started through his kick off. Erubiel Beltran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Freitas in the 4th minute of the match. Erubiel Beltran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yuri Freitas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Yuri Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Beltran having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Dunixi came free, but Valentin Eudoxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Hitz struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Erubiel Beltran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INDEPENDIENTE. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Iguana Club's goalkeeper Erubiel Beltran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Yuri Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Hitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Erubiel Beltran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Beltran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yuri Freitas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. Yuri Freitas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Erubiel Beltran skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With 33 minutes on the clock, Carmelo Ieltxu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Deportivo Iguana Club booed when INDEPENDIENTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Ieltxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Yuri Freitas notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Deportivo Iguana Club's Erubiel Beltran. Erubiel Beltran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The wind increased when Yuri Freitas made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Iguana Club's Valentin Eudoxio threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erasmo Henry, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 70th minute, Yuri Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yuri Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Beltran having to interfere. Valentin Eudoxio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Lawrence, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Yuri Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Beltran having to interfere. After some careless play in the Deportivo Iguana Club defense, Yuri Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erubiel Beltran. The Deportivo Iguana Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erubiel Beltran should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Yuri Freitas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erubiel Beltran. Deportivo Iguana Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuri Freitas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. When INDEPENDIENTE's Yuri Freitas in 93 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Erubiel Beltran guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. INDEPENDIENTE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
