Spectators: 6659 (Terracing: 5012, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guillermo Bernabel took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Danilo Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmeiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Sadurni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Danilo Marquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Sadurni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th minute, Constantino Bartuelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Palos charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Palos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Emita got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Palos. Narciso Galindo scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basilio Sadurni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basilio Sadurni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Galindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Anier Aresti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Sadurni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes Emita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hilario Jakue who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Palmeiras's Constantino Bartuelo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Narciso Galindo struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Basilio Sadurni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras. The referee gave Palmeiras a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hilario Jakue, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Emita's Basilio Sadurni. 0-3. After 37 played minutes Emita got a freekick which was hit by Eneto Nobo. Emita's Basilio Sadurni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Rito in the 40th minute of play. After 42 played minutes, Palmeiras's Prospero Rito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basilio Sadurni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palmeiras reached it. Emita's Basilio Sadurni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Bartuelo in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Emita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Gabirel to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Danilo Marquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Sadurni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Narciso Galindo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Basilio Sadurni skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 55th minute of the match Constantino Bartuelo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basilio Sadurni skillfully saved the ball. Constantino Bartuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Angelo Palos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 68 minutes, Hilario Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmeiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Jakue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Emita's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Galindo came free, but Basilio Sadurni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basilio Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Bartuelo in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Bernabel in the 73rd minute of play forced Palmeiras's goalkeeper Feliciano Fernendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Sadurni didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Iker Guifre charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iker Guifre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Basilio Sadurni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Galindo in the 83rd minute of the match. Emita's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Narciso Galindo scored to the left of an out of position Basilio Sadurni, making the score, 0-6. A collision led to Emita getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Benito Gabirel hit a great ball. Emita's Basilio Sadurni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Galindo in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Beniamin Paraszczuk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basilio Sadurni. Emita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beniamin Paraszczuk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. When the match was over Palmeiras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Emita throughout the match.
