When Generoso Sandalio fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baku- Azerbayjan's protests and gave Generoso Sandalio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Generoso Sandalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Goi in the 90th minute of play forced Baku- Azerbayjan's goalkeeper Generoso Admon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Gomesano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Perrando in the 93rd minute of the match. Mariano Goi struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Generoso Admon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tírala Larga Que Corro. After having played for 95 minutes, Florencio Quinten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tírala Larga Que Corro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Quinten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mariano Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tírala Larga Que Corro had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
