When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Reynaldo Ur put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Generoso Admon. Reynaldo Ur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zhu Song Song made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Perrando in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Perrando in the 27th minute of play forced LosTeros F.C's goalkeeper Zhu Song Song to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Basilio Belasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Peruanton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Zhu Song Song made a huge save. Generoso Admon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Cuarto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Baku- Azerbayjan getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Angelo Estevez hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Reynaldo Ur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Admon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Ur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Admon was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melquiades Perrando to make the kick off. Osvaldo Acosta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Generoso Admon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Baku- Azerbayjan's zone, Reynaldo Ur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Admon came out of the goal and Reynaldo Ur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Reynaldo Ur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LosTeros F.C's Zhu Song Song played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Peruanton in the 76th minute of play. Iker Cuarto's late challenge caught a Baku- Azerbayjan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iker Cuarto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LosTeros F.C's Iker Cuarto got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes, Baku- Azerbayjan's Benito Vincent shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zhu Song Song came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Generoso Admon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the LosTeros F.C defense, Dionisio Peruanton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zhu Song Song. The LosTeros F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zhu Song Song should have stopped the shot. LosTeros F.C played a much better game than Baku- Azerbayjan and deserved their victory. The Baku- Azerbayjan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
