Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amado Donio kicked off to start the match. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Cangallo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Francho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carolo Cesario hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Cangallo's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Quilino came free, but Hernan Soter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Salvator struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Victor Tallia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cangallo. In the 16th minute, Lucas Gilesindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Delmar Salvator had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Tallia. San Lorenzo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmar Salvator was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Delmar Salvator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Tallia having to interfere. Delmar Salvator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Victor Tallia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Soter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Donio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Victor Tallia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Salvator in the 41st minute of play. Erasmo Gorbea struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Victor Tallia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cangallo. Victor Tallia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Salvator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Gorbea came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Victor Tallia could save by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Delmar Salvator might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Tallia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmar Salvator ran back to his position shaking his head. Victor Tallia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmar Salvator went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Delmar Salvator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Cangallo's Hernan Soter got control of the ball when Celedonio Banegas tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Delmar Salvator came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Cangallo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Salvator couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Delmar Salvator stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Tallia came out of the goal and Delmar Salvator tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florentino Maxin's late challenge caught a San Lorenzo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Maxin helped the player get up and apologised. Amado Donio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Delmar Salvator stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Tallia came out of the goal and Delmar Salvator tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cangallo's Erasmo Gorbea got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Victor Tallia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
