José Carlos Paulista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Adolfo Raymon made a huge save. In the 24th minute, José Carlos Paulista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Raymon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Urbano Odilon came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Talleres de CORDOBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Odilon couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, José Carlos Paulista dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adolfo Raymon, 2-0. Urbano Odilon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inter de Urquiza were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Talleres de CORDOBA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cesar Mero took the corner. José Carlos Paulista succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 45th playminute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Cesar Mero made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Carlos Paulista in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolfo Raymon saved Inter de Urquiza from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Teodosio Hanni put in a rough tackle. Teodosio Hanni hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Adolfo Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Paulista in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Ivan Udalaitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres de CORDOBA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 62nd match minute, Inter de Urquiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Laffitte to maneuver through the defense. Talleres de CORDOBA's José Carlos Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gervasio Oinatz fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 66th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. 72 minutes into the match, José Carlos Paulista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolfo Raymon. Inter de Urquiza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Carlos Paulista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Adolfo Raymon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Odilon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Urbano Odilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Raymon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urbano Odilon went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres de CORDOBA's zone, Eustaquio Feo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Satordi came out of the goal and Eustaquio Feo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Carlos Paulista might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Raymon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Carlos Paulista ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, José Carlos Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Talleres de CORDOBA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Inter de Urquiza had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
