Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Salvador Pelagius started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Filomeno Gaur took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ramiro Iraunkor to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Mailín AFC's Filomeno Gaur got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Cordarrol in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfredo Ekain saved Mailín AFC from getting behind. Ramiro Iraunkor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Pelagius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Gaur in the 11th minute of play forced Club Atletico Talleres's goalkeeper Ramiro Iraunkor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mailín AFC's Albino Rius got a free kick in the 14th minute. Leonides Arixo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Ceferino Cordarrol made a precise shot to the right of Godfredo Ekain. Mailín AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 19 minutes, Salvador Pelagius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mailín AFC and the Club Atletico Talleres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Mailín AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Pelagius to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Club Atletico Talleres booed when Mailín AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Rius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro Iraunkor made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Hugo Rivero sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute Filomeno Gaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Iraunkor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramiro Iraunkor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Sindo in the 37th minute of play. Ladislao Llorian kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Cordarrol made a kick off. Ramiro Iraunkor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Sindo in the 55th minute of play. Club Atletico Talleres's Tobiasz Michalski got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Rosendo Patxi sped through Mailín AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Godfredo Ekain. The supporters of Club Atletico Talleres booed when Mailín AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Pelagius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Salvador Pelagius notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Club Atletico Talleres's Ramiro Iraunkor. Ramiro Iraunkor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Mailín AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Filomeno Gaur hit a great ball. Godfredo Ekain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Cordarrol in the 69th minute of play. Club Atletico Talleres's Ramiro Iraunkor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Gaur in the 70th minute of play. Ramiro Iraunkor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Pelagius in the 72nd minute of play. Ramiro Iraunkor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Rivero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xabi Neubert hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Hugo Rivero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Iraunkor having to interfere. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Talleres defense, Hugo Rivero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Iraunkor. The Club Atletico Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Iraunkor should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, Salvador Pelagius made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Iraunkor. Club Atletico Talleres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. 89 minutes into the match, Mailín AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Cordarrol came free, but Godfredo Ekain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Llorian in the 95th minute of play forced Club Atletico Talleres's goalkeeper Ramiro Iraunkor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Iraunkor came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Mailín AFC's Salvador Pelagius. But to his dismay, Salvador Pelagius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Club Atletico Talleres's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
