Higinio Nuxila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Cosme Oskitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Higinio Nuxila made a precise shot to the right of Cosme Oskitz. Sporting Nueva Italia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Cosme Oskitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Higinio Nuxila's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. If Higinio Nuxila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Geronimo Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosme Oskitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Nuxila in the 26th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Sporting Nueva Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Incendio came free, but Cosme Oskitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Oskitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 46th minute, Maximino Macias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Nueva Italia's goalkeeper Cosme Oskitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino Macias to make the kick off. If Higinio Nuxila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Higinio Nuxila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Oskitz was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Valentin Mede hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Nueva Italia's zone, Higinio Nuxila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Oskitz came out of the goal and Higinio Nuxila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Elodio in the 94th minute of play forced Sporting Nueva Italia's goalkeeper Cosme Oskitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Higinio Nuxila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Oskitz was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. After 95 minutes, Victor Sanduru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Nueva Italia and the Guatraché FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 96 minutes into the match, Sporting Nueva Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Elodio came free, but Cosme Oskitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
