With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Tomi in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Oskitz saved Sporting Nueva Italia from getting behind. After 7 played minutes Sporting Nueva Italia got a freekick which was hit by Victor Sanduru. Cosme Oskitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Nabar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Florinio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Astrada having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Pirámide's Luis Tomi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Oskitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Sporting Nueva Italia got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Hernando. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Tomi in the 28th minute of play forced Sporting Nueva Italia's goalkeeper Cosme Oskitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Saul Florinio could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Samuel Astrada however easily saved by the left post. Samuel Astrada made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Saul Florinio sent off a good shot on target. After 34 played minutes, Pirámide's Danilo Jurgi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosme Oskitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pirámide reached it. After 36 played minutes Sporting Nueva Italia got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Casado. The audience was convinced that Luis Tomi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Oskitz was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Teodoro Hernando's late challenge caught a Pirámide's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Hernando helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Luis Tomi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Sporting Nueva Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Casado to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Macias made a kick off. Cosme Oskitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anibal Nabar in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute Luis Tomi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Oskitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Nabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Cosme Oskitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sporting Nueva Italia's Fabricio Domingues got a free kick in the 60th minute. Pirámide's Anibal Nabar got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosme Oskitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Tomi's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Roberto Casado charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Casado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The long shot by Teofilo Matei in the 83rd minute really tested Cosme Oskitz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sporting Nueva Italia's Cosme Oskitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Tomi in the 85th minute of play. Sporting Nueva Italia's Cosme Oskitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Nueva Italia from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Anibal Nabar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luis Tomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the match, Sporting Nueva Italia's goalkeeper Cosme Oskitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Nabar.
