In the 19th minute, Clemente Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game, Bruno Guter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malanzán AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gabo F.C the free kick. The supporters of Gabo F.C booed when Malanzán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Guter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Gabino struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Rigoberto Jatsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malanzán AFC. In the 25th minute, Rigoberto Orlo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gabo F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Augusto Txordon put in a rough tackle. Rigoberto Jatsu had great luck who in the 35thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bruno Guter from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 36th minute, Cleto Loi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rigoberto Jatsu. The goal made the score 1-2. Cleto Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Jatsu having to interfere. If Luis Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Orlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Celedonio Hitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Beltran hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Malanzán AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gabo F.C were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Loi to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleto Loi in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Jatsu saved Gabo F.C from getting behind. Simon Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Malanzán AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Luis Beltran hit a great ball. Cleto Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Jatsu having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Malanzán AFC's Cleto Loi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Jatsu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After 81 played minutes Malanzán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Loi. Malanzán AFC's Celedonio Hitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Malanzán AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Malanzán AFC booed when Gabo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Gartzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleto Loi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Jatsu having to interfere. Although Malanzán AFC had been in control for most of the match, Gabo F.C still came away with the win.
