Spectators: 7056 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilfredo Pancho started the match with the kick off. Mario Cordera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Paskal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Pancho in the 5th minute of play forced Siempre Fuertes's goalkeeper Mario Cordera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Florentino Efraim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Siempre Fuertes's Artemio Lorencio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Artemio Lorencio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Siempre Fuertes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Artemio Lorencio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Siempre Fuertes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ceibal FC:s goal. In the 15th minute, Isidro Urtungo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mario Cordera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 18 minutes of play, Ceibal FC's Astor Paskal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Cordera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernest Costescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rogelio Leocadio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernest Costescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Leocadio having to interfere. Siempre Fuertes's Mario Cordera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Pancho in the 31st minute of play. Jairo Gilen hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Álmos Pataki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Cordera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Pancho in the 39th minute of play. Ceibal FC's Rogelio Leocadio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Abaurre in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Ernest Costescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rogelio Leocadio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Álmos Pataki to make the kick off. Ceibal FC's Astor Paskal suffered a sprained foot after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 51st minute, Jairo Gilen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ernest Costescu came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Siempre Fuertes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Costescu couldn't finish the play. Mario Cordera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Pancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Gilen in the 67th minute of play forced Ceibal FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Leocadio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Álmos Pataki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Leocadio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Pancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Kelemen took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogelio Leocadio. Rogelio Leocadio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Nicanor Kelemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Cordera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Toli, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Evaristo Toli fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ceibal FC's protests and gave Evaristo Toli a yellow card for diving instead. Evaristo Toli kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Ernest Costescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Nicanor Kelemen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Leocadio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 94th minute, Nicanor Kelemen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Siempre Fuertes were the better team. Siempre Fuertes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
