After a defensive mix-up in Coiruro's zone, Aquilino Egoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Flor came out of the goal and Aquilino Egoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Aquilino Egoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzalo Flor. Coiruro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquilino Egoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rene Modestio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonzalo Flor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Coiruro's Leon Emenon got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Rene Modestio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El S y P de Harmonica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Danilo Baraquiel might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonzalo Flor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danilo Baraquiel ran back to his position shaking his head. Danilo Baraquiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Flor having to interfere. Rene Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Flor having to interfere. After 41 minutes, Everardo Marcones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coiruro and the El S y P de Harmonica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave El S y P de Harmonica a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Danilo Baraquiel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Coiruro's Gonzalo Flor. 1-3. Gonzalo Flor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Modestio, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Aquilino Egoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Modestio to strike the kick off in the second half. When Rafael Millrick came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Coiruro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Millrick couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Modestio in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Flor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 65 minutes, Rene Modestio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El S y P de Harmonica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Modestio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rene Modestio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Gonzalo Flor made a huge save. After 72 minutes, Nestor Rami mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coiruro and the El S y P de Harmonica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Nestor Rami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El S y P de Harmonica's Epifanio Natal was substituted for Raul Abeitia. A collision led to Coiruro getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Nestor Rami hit a great ball. Leon Emenon's late challenge caught a El S y P de Harmonica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Emenon helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes Coiruro got a freekick which was hit by Leon Emenon. Norberto Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Egoitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonzalo Flor having to make a save. Gonzalo Flor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danilo Baraquiel went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Danilo Baraquiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Coiruro booed when El S y P de Harmonica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Hernström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over El S y P de Harmonica could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Coiruro throughout the match.
