Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Peruxu started the match with the kick off. Constantino Cai who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Anibal Iturri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Anibal Iturri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the BARCELONA defense, Constantino Cai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anibal Iturri. The BARCELONA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Iturri should have stopped the shot. After 17 played minutes guard life got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Colon. Marcial Elija received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jesus Honrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Marcial Elija cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jesus Honrio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Peruxu in the 26th minute of play forced BARCELONA's goalkeeper Anibal Iturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pedro Peruxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Colon kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, guard life's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Jayvier came free, but Jesus Honrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game Pedro Peruxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BARCELONA's Anibal Iturri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, BARCELONA's Hermengildo Gomez got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Constantino Cai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesus Honrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Jayvier in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, BARCELONA's Ladislao Sengrat got a free kick in the 51st minute. BARCELONA's Anibal Iturri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Mel in the 52nd minute of play. Pedro Peruxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Cai in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anibal Iturri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Constantino Cai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. guard life's Constantino Cai got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Peruxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Anibal Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Peruxu came free, but Anibal Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Cai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Pedro Peruxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pedro Peruxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Honrio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Jayvier in the 86th minute. Jesus Honrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Elija, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Constantino Cai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Anibal Iturri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Peruxu might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Iturri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Peruxu ran back to his position shaking his head. Abelardo Dei charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Dei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jesus Honrio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 97th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ladislao Sengrat. When the referee ended the match the guard life players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
