The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Dodorol got free with Cesar Dimas in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, AC Mariano's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Millrick came free, but Igor Procopio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Silban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Igor Procopio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tadeo Millrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Millrick in the 30th minute of play forced AC Mariano's goalkeeper Igor Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AC Mariano's Narciso Rayman got a free kick in the 34th minute. Cayetano Silban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Procopio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AC Mariano's zone, Cayetano Silban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Procopio came out of the goal and Cayetano Silban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadeo Millrick charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeo Millrick the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Mandiyu's Tadeo Millrick got a free kick in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paolo Unai to make the kick off. If Tadeo Millrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Silban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Igor Procopio made a huge save. After 58 played minutes AC Mariano got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Blasi. AC Mariano's Igor Procopio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save AC Mariano from getting a goal against them. Igor Procopio was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Cayetano Silban capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cayetano Silban really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 63rd minute, Paolo Unai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Mariano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 71 minutes into the match, AC Mariano's goalkeeper Igor Procopio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cayetano Silban. If Tadeo Millrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to AC Mariano getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Amancio Blasi hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Paolo Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Procopio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Millrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Procopio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Millrick in the 87th minute of play. Cayetano Silban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Igor Procopio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave AC Mariano a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Enrique Peruanton, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Deportivo Mandiyu's Cesar Dimas. 2-3. Club Deportivo Mandiyu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
