The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elano Urbano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Espora's Rene Rik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Espora from getting a goal against them. Honorato Hermon lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 77th minute, one of Espora:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Espora. Rene Rik made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Eugenio Eduino sent off a good shot on target. Elano Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Nesto having to interfere. If Elano Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Haroldo Garoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Victoriano Ubarna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Eugenio Eduino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Progreso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Eduino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
