Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ruben Constancio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ruta 8's Ruben Constancio came free and shot a quick shot against goal 5 minutes in the game, fortunately Rickard Björkdal had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when 巩旭迪 sped through Ruta 8's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Conrado Goito. After 13th play minutes 巩旭迪 shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Conrado Goito and just under the crossbar into goal. When Jose Mazuste came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Petroquímica AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Mazuste couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Donato Navarro notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ruta 8's Conrado Goito. Conrado Goito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th minute, Tomas Innocenzio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Goito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Jose Mazuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Goito having to interfere. Conrado Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 巩旭迪 in the 35th minute of play. Conrado Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 巩旭迪, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ruta 8's Froilan Sol got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Mazuste in the 45th minute of play forced Ruta 8's goalkeeper Conrado Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Ruta 8's goal looked a bit too open when 巩旭迪 came free, but Conrado Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 巩旭迪 made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Mazuste in the 56th minute of play forced Ruta 8's goalkeeper Conrado Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Goito was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and 巩旭迪 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 巩旭迪 really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. If Delmiro Ortzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruta 8's Conrado Goito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Ruta 8 from getting a goal against them. Ruta 8's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when 巩旭迪 scored to the left of an out of position Conrado Goito, making the score, 1-8. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruben Constancio in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rickard Björkdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ruta 8's Eleuterio Marquez got a free kick in the 76th minute. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-9 when 巩旭迪 sped through Ruta 8's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Conrado Goito. Tomas Innocenzio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Conrado Goito made a huge save. With a little luck, Ruta 8's Conrado Goito got control of the ball when 巩旭迪 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match, Tomas Innocenzio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Conrado Goito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle sounded Petroquímica AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ruta 8.
