Quebrachos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Filipo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting DEP 1987's goalkeeper Teobaldo Transito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute Quebrachos were awarded a corner. Luis Distiratsu went to the cornerflag to take it. Jonathan Feo tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Teobaldo Transito. A collision led to Quebrachos getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Santiago Pepillo hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Gabriel Filipo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quebrachos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Filipo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Quebrachos's goalkeeper Enrique Bidun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Eguntsenti. Quebrachos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Teobaldo Transito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Gabriel Filipo came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Quebrachos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Filipo couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Quebrachos made a substitution. Aurre Garzon replaced Santiago Pepillo. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Filipo to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee showed Luis Distiratsu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Quebrachos getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Luis Distiratsu hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, Quebrachos's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Oro came free, but Enrique Bidun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quebrachos played a much better game than Sporting DEP 1987 and deserved their victory. The Sporting DEP 1987 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
