Pedro Constancio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Dodorol having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Unidos de La Manjica's Pedro Constancio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Dodorol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Samuel Dodorol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Constancio's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Ubaldo Guilabertus scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Dodorol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Douglas Haig's zone, Ubaldo Guilabertus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Dodorol came out of the goal and Ubaldo Guilabertus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Constancio in the 17th minute of play forced Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Samuel Dodorol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Pedro Constancio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Douglas Haig's Samuel Dodorol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Samuel Dodorol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Constancio's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Pedro Constancio might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Dodorol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Constancio ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Unidos de La Manjica's Guillermo Bermund got a free kick in the 29th minute. Edelmiro Tartalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Cutberto in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Unidos de La Manjica getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Guillermo Bermund hit a great ball. The supporters of Unidos de La Manjica booed when Douglas Haig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Belo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 minutes, Americo Mosen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Douglas Haig and the Unidos de La Manjica players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Pedro Constancio put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Samuel Dodorol. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Unidos de La Manjica! When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, Douglas Haig's Santiago Otoniel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Edelmiro Tartalo. After the first half Unidos de La Manjica were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Pedro Constancio made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Paolo Micael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Edelmiro Tartalo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Pedro Constancio took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Samuel Dodorol to make any attempt to save it. Pedro Constancio struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Samuel Dodorol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidos de La Manjica. 74 minutes into the match, Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Samuel Dodorol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Constancio. 76 minutes into the match, Unidos de La Manjica's Pedro Constancio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Dodorol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Constancio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Unidos de La Manjica booed when Douglas Haig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Maldonado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Haig's Samuel Dodorol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Constancio in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Douglas Haig's zone, Pedro Constancio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Dodorol came out of the goal and Pedro Constancio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillermo Bermund was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Amador Benvide hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute of the match Aldo Lazcano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Dodorol skillfully saved the ball. Unidos de La Manjica's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
