Simon Evangelista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC JEC. In the 35th minute, one of FC JEC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC JEC. Benicio Mederi had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Lisandro Elequemedo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 38th match minute, FC JEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. Benicio Mederi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Jon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC JEC's Benicio Mederi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Felipo in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, FC JEC's goalkeeper Benicio Mederi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Elequemedo. If Marcelino Jon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Diego Vachon made the kick off in the second half. The FC JEC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when FC JEC's Diego Vachon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcelino Jon struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Benicio Mederi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anasagasti AFC. Lisandro Elequemedo scored 2-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Mederi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benicio Mederi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Elequemedo in the 70th minute of play. After 74 minutes, Diego Vachon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC JEC and the Anasagasti AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, FC JEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Vachon to maneuver through the defense. Simon Evangelista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hatemi Ağaoğlu in the 77th minute of the match. Diego Vachon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
