Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Aurre in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Oihan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Saguión AFC's Marcos Aurre in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LIVERPOOL FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in LIVERPOOL FC's zone, Jesus Vela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Oihan came out of the goal and Jesus Vela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Saguión AFC's goalkeeper Victorino Aragones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Mikelar. The audience was convinced that Marcos Aurre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Oihan was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. LIVERPOOL FC's Arturo Oihan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Aurre in the 15th minute of play. Arturo Oihan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Marcos Aurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes of play, Saguión AFC's Marcos Aurre made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Oihan was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Marcos Aurre came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Saguión AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Aurre couldn't finish the play. In the 48th match minute, LIVERPOOL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo James to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guido Haritzeder to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcos Aurre struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Arturo Oihan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saguión AFC. In the 54thth minute of the game Marcos Aurre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LIVERPOOL FC's Arturo Oihan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute Freddy Gomesano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Oihan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcos Aurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guido Haritzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Victorino Aragones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Eder in the 68th minute of play forced Saguión AFC's goalkeeper Victorino Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Saguión AFC booed when LIVERPOOL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Mon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Aurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Oihan having to interfere. With a little luck, LIVERPOOL FC's Arturo Oihan got control of the ball when Marcos Aurre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Cebrian's late challenge caught a Saguión AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Cebrian helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes LIVERPOOL FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Cebrian. 84 minutes into the match, Saguión AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Haritzeder came free, but Victorino Aragones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Oihan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jesus Vela. Victoriano Louis struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Arturo Oihan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saguión AFC. If Marcos Aurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saguión AFC played a much better game than LIVERPOOL FC and deserved their victory. The LIVERPOOL FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
