Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 100) Melquiades Duardo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Roque Guillelme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Duardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Severino Ubendu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Echagüe's Roque Guillelme got control of the ball when Melquiades Duardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Roque Guillelme managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Arequito FC's Melquiades Duardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Israel Dolcet came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Echagüe's Zacarias Vimaro. But to his dismay, Zacarias Vimaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Romulo Tanio hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Melquiades Duardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Roque Guillelme skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 30 played minutes Echagüe got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Fonseca. Ladislao Pabla hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Everardo Orain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Dolcet having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Cleto Poncio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Israel Dolcet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a little luck, Echagüe's Roque Guillelme got control of the ball when Melquiades Duardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute, Arequito FC's Melquiades Duardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roque Guillelme. Roque Guillelme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cleto Poncio made a kick off. After 58 minutes, Melquiades Duardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arequito FC and the Echagüe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Melquiades Duardo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Israel Dolcet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Poncio in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes Zacarias Vimaro rounded Arequito FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Roque Guillelme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melquiades Duardo's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Zacarias Vimaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Israel Dolcet made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Duardo in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roque Guillelme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Duardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Guillelme was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Roque Guillelme came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Arequito FC's Joaquin Quinito. But to his dismay, Joaquin Quinito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Arequito FC's Leon Feo was substituted for Luisito Abarca. Melquiades Duardo scored 3-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roque Guillelme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Melquiades Duardo put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Roque Guillelme. Echagüe's Roque Guillelme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Duardo in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Duardo in the 95th minute of play forced Echagüe's goalkeeper Roque Guillelme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Arequito FC could leave the field as winners, despite Echagüe having more of the ball for most of the match.
