The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerardo Oalo got free with Karl Cadieux in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the game, Jacinto Gil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Embarcación AFC the free kick. A collision led to AC Palermo getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Oalo in the 60th minute of play forced Embarcación AFC's goalkeeper Karl Cadieux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severiano Arias hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Karl Cadieux was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72ndth minute of the game Baltasar Oihenarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Palermo's Elias Geofredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gualterio Lano's late challenge caught a Embarcación AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualterio Lano helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice moves Baltasar Oihenarte could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Elias Geofredo however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prudencio Montrell got free with Elias Geofredo in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Embarcación AFC's Cirilo Peli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elias Geofredo. That made the score 2-3 after 81 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Peli in the 90th minute of play forced AC Palermo's goalkeeper Elias Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Guillermo Abel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Embarcación AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
