The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alejandro Haritz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Bonadona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 13thth minute of the game Reynaldo Olayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Realeza Marplatense's Alejo Bonadona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Realeza Marplatense's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Haritz came free, but Alejo Bonadona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Olayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Bonadona having to interfere. Severino Hustaz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Reynaldo Olayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejo Bonadona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Haritz in the 31st minute of the match. When Reynaldo Olayo came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Samborombón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Olayo couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Severino Hustaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reynaldo Olayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejo Bonadona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Olayo in the 37th minute of the match. Alejandro Haritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Bonadona having to interfere. If Alejandro Haritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Olayo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Samborombón getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Luis Nalo hit a great ball. Realeza Marplatense were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Samborombón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Flavio Gilen took the corner. After taking down the ball on Realeza Marplatense's corner Flavio Gilen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abel Leheren quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Reynaldo Olayo took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Alejo Bonadona to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Realeza Marplatense's Alejo Bonadona got control of the ball when Alejandro Haritz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Realeza Marplatense's Alejo Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Olayo in the 91st minute of play. After 95 played minutes Realeza Marplatense got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Jatsu. 96 minutes into the match, Samborombón's Luis Nalo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Samborombón played a much better game than Realeza Marplatense and deserved their victory. The Realeza Marplatense players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
