Baldomiro Fertus's late challenge caught a Garayalde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Fertus helped the player get up and apologised. Anıl Hicab might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pablo Montay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anıl Hicab ran back to his position shaking his head. Aurelio Diegotxe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Montay having to make a save. CSCI La Paz Entre Ríos's Rogelio Olayo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Orain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Olayo in the 77th minute of play. If Aurelio Diegotxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pablo Montay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Diegotxe in the 81st minute of the match. Aurelio Diegotxe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Montay having to make a save. Anıl Hicab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Montay having to interfere. When Narciso Cesaro fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSCI La Paz Entre Ríos's protests and gave Narciso Cesaro a yellow card for diving instead. Garayalde's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Garayalde played a much better game than CSCI La Paz Entre Ríos and deserved their victory. The CSCI La Paz Entre Ríos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
