In the 4th minute Sebastian Azubeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Pagomari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes Dragones Verdes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alejandro Dimas who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Dimas in the 14th minute of play forced Dragones Verdes's goalkeeper Alonzo Pagomari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodolina AFC's Evaristo Blasi got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cirilo Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute Dionisio Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Dragones Verdes's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Azubeli came free, but Alonzo Pagomari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes, Primitivo Oton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragones Verdes and the Teodolina AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 29 minutes into the game, Ariel Xabier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragones Verdes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teodolina AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dragones Verdes's Ariel Xabier got a free kick in the 30th minute. Marcelino Precioso kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Inocencio Haitz hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Sebastian Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Azubeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Alonzo Pagomari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Azubeli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Moises Anaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teodolina AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dragones Verdes the free kick. Moises Anaya kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Alonzo Pagomari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Azubeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Dionisio Petrigai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragones Verdes's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionisio Petrigai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Vergaray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niceto Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Licerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Cirilo Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Vergaray having to interfere. In the 87th minute, one of Dragones Verdes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dragones Verdes. After a defensive mix-up in Dragones Verdes's zone, Jacobo Jerrold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Pagomari came out of the goal and Jacobo Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
