A collision led to OEL getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Omar Javiero hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Edgard Suarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, La Guardia Imperial's Epifanio Modestio got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, OEL's 陶挺义 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Leonardo Avalos took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Aaron Olayo to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, OEL's Aaron Olayo threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Omar Javiero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Aaron Olayo managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when OEL's Leonardo Avalos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgard Suarez to strike the kick off in the second half. Aaron Olayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Anaya in the 53rd minute of play. Aaron Olayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Avalos in the 55th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Gaztea came free, but Aaron Olayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Omar Javiero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OEL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Alvise Sanna kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Guardia Imperial's zone, Mateo Anaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Olayo came out of the goal and Mateo Anaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 played minutes La Guardia Imperial got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Torres. Mateo Anaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aaron Olayo having to make a save. Ramiro Selmo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Aaron Olayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. OEL's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
