When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Loco Palermo sped through nelsondany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edelmiro Ilixo. When Loco Palermo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Pancho´s Dream Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loco Palermo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Piechocki in the 43rd minute of play forced nelsondany's goalkeeper Edelmiro Ilixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loco Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edelmiro Ilixo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of Pancho´s Dream Team booed when nelsondany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Loco Palermo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
