With a little luck, Otamendi's Laureano Caton got control of the ball when Clodoveo Chuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Frechoso struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Patric Rosin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otamendi. When Gilberto Porfirio fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Otamendi's protests and gave Gilberto Porfirio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Otamendi getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gilberto Porfirio hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Clodoveo Chuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laureano Caton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Braulio Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaias Etxatxu succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Patric Rosin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Otamendi's Gabriel Frechoso shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Gabriel Frechoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Etxatxu couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Pacuzito's Isaias Etxatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaias Etxatxu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Eduardo Trobetas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Caton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Clodoveo Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaias Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Laureano Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaias Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Caton having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Clodoveo Chuan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Pacuzito's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Chuan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Caton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laureano Caton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patric Rosin was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Braulio Sengrat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Braulio Sengrat really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Oscar Paskal's late challenge caught a Otamendi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Paskal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pacuzito's Oscar Paskal got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Braulio Sengrat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patric Rosin having to interfere. Gabriel Frechoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Patric Rosin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Otamendi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Frances to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Etxatxu in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Caton saved Otamendi from getting behind. The Deportivo Pacuzito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Otamendi's performance. The match ended with a win for Otamendi.
