Evaristo Barea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Montay was a little too slow when Francisco Socorro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ubaldo Montay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Macias in the 13th minute of the match. Coghlan FC's Omar Haritz got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Bosteros FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Armando Ireno hit a great ball. Adan Flor scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaristo Barea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 25 minutes, Omar Haritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coghlan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Haritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bosteros FC's Evaristo Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Haritz in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Coghlan FC's Enzo Lorencio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Barea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bosteros FC's zone, Serafin Santiago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Barea came out of the goal and Serafin Santiago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Santiago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adan Flor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Barea having to interfere. The supporters of Bosteros FC booed when Coghlan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Ignado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bosteros FC's zone, Serafin Santiago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Barea came out of the goal and Serafin Santiago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Aballe got free with Evaristo Barea in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 55 minutes, Serafin Santiago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Omar Haritz struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Evaristo Barea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coghlan FC. Evaristo Barea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adan Flor in the 87th minute. Ubaldo Montay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coghlan FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
