Melquiades Bertran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Ireno, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Los xeneizes's Mariano Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Erramun in the 26th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ismael Vincent kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mariano Abella. That made the score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. With his leg Mariano Abella managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when ArgenTeam's Armando Garikoitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorio Ireno was the one to do the kick off. Los xeneizes's Mariano Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Erramun in the 53rd minute of play. Honorio Ireno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florentino Ramirez hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Los xeneizes's Mariano Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Erramun in the 59th minute of play. Mariano Abella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Demario in the 66th minute of the match. ArgenTeam's Eusebio Erramun got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Oliviero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Bertran having to interfere. Anier Ado hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Armando Garikoitz notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Los xeneizes's Mariano Abella. Mariano Abella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 81 minutes, Honorio Ireno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los xeneizes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Ireno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florentino Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Gilberto Demario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Abella. Los xeneizes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Demario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. 93 minutes into the game, Ismael Vincent cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Mariano Abella was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ArgenTeam's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
