Melquiades Bertran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Apolo Benvide went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, Gaboto's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Demario came free, but Teodoro Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Melquiades Bertran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Melquiades Bertran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Sergi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, ArgenTeam's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Benvide came free, but Melquiades Bertran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Jokin made a kick off. 70 minutes into the match, ArgenTeam's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Rosario came free, but Melquiades Bertran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Bertran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Rosario in the 72nd minute of the match. ArgenTeam's Melquiades Bertran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Benvide in the 74th minute of play. Melquiades Bertran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Rosario, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Teodoro Mingo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Garikoitz in the 78th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Bertran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to ArgenTeam getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Edelmiro Marcones hit a great ball. Gaboto made a substitution. Horacio Bastian replaced Angelino Serapio. After 94 played minutes, Gaboto's Lino Elequemedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melquiades Bertran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gaboto reached it. In the 96th minute, Denis Sergi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gaboto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Gaboto walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
