Universidad Kennedy's Sofoklis Kapatais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Gilesindo in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Universidad Kennedy's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Gilesindo came free, but Sofoklis Kapatais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Universidad Kennedy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Petri to maneuver through the defense. Arnoldo Caitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Universidad Kennedy's Victoriano Frederico slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angel Fanuco. That made the score 2-1 after 23 minutes of play. Angel Fanuco made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Arnoldo Caitano sent off a good shot on target. Sofoklis Kapatais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Gilesindo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Universidad Kennedy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Ado to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Gilesindo in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sofoklis Kapatais saved Universidad Kennedy from getting behind. With a little luck, Belgrano's Angel Fanuco got control of the ball when Arnoldo Caitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Nestor Ado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Angel Fanuco, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

A collision led to Universidad Kennedy getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Zeledon Lamberto hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Belgrano's Ceferino Chesus broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Angel Fanuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Frederico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Romeo Petri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Fanuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Caitano in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Universidad Kennedy booed when Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Chesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Teo Gilesindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Ado struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Angel Fanuco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universidad Kennedy. After some careless play in the Belgrano defense, Arnoldo Caitano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Fanuco. The Belgrano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Fanuco should have stopped the shot. Belgrano's Teo Gilesindo suffered a concussion after 72 minutes and had to leave the field. Domingo Roldanillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Sofoklis Kapatais made a huge save. Silvio Orain kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Universidad Kennedy's Arnoldo Caitano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 80 minutes into the match, Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Caitano came free, but Angel Fanuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute of the match, Rafael Urko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sofoklis Kapatais saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 86th minute Arnoldo Caitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sofoklis Kapatais was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Rafael Urko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Urko really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. The audience was convinced that Victoriano Frederico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Fanuco was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Universidad Kennedy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
