Ramiro Cugat kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vagues's Fernan Furtado got a free kick in the 21st minute. Gabriel Iago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Endira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Iago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Endira went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 30 played minutes Deportivo Rubio got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Jerano. In the 32nd match minute, Vagues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Omero to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Armando Endira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gabriel Iago, 2-0. In the 55th match minute, Vagues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Cugat to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vagues's zone, Uffe Kamman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Iago came out of the goal and Uffe Kamman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruben Goizeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Gustau having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Fresco got free with Rigoberto Gustau in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vagues's Ramiro Cugat shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rigoberto Gustau but with some difficulty. In the 77th minute, Ruben Goizeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marco Nel came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Deportivo Rubio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Nel couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute of the match Aurelio Jerano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Iago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Vagues's Ruben Goizeder in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Rubio's goalie prevented a goal. Leopoldo Eneto charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Eneto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Deportivo Rubio getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Leopoldo Eneto hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vagues players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Rubio.
