After having played for 13 minutes, Maximino Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Lauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Maximino Lauro lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Patricio Oliviero. In the 18th minute, Delmiro Asteri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dante Celipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Martino hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Defensores del Comahue's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Lauro came free, but Patricio Oliviero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dante Celipe to strike the kick off in the second half. Alvear's Justo Haritz got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Sol struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Patricio Oliviero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvear. Justo Haritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Steven charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Steven the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Alvear got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Rutenio. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Lucas Shantala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores del Comahue's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Shantala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Abascal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvear's goalkeeper Feliberto Abascal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Justo Haritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maximino Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Haritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Oliviero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Alvear's Maximino Lauro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Oliviero narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
