Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nestor Remicio took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Cristian Adrio lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Celedonio Sancho. In the 6th minute of the match Baltasar Dimo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celedonio Sancho skillfully saved the ball. Celedonio Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Mergildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tionso's Amadeo Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Remicio in the 8th minute of play. Haroldo Frasquito's late challenge caught a Tionso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Frasquito helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13thth minute of the game Saturnino Mergildo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arata FC's Celedonio Sancho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonzo Cucao in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeo Rubio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 29 played minutes Arata FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Ubelteso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Mergildo in the 32nd minute of play forced Arata FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alonzo Cucao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Totakoxe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Celedonio Sancho made a huge save. After having played for 46 minutes, Saturnino Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tionso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Mergildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Mergildo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Saturnino Mergildo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tionso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 63rd minute Saturnino Mergildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Tionso defense, Simon Ubelteso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeo Rubio. The Tionso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeo Rubio should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Arata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Totakoxe came free, but Celedonio Sancho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Saturnino Mergildo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celedonio Sancho was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Eliseo Totakoxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Sancho having to interfere. Saturnino Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Arata FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Simon Ubelteso hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Arata FC's zone, Eliseo Totakoxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Sancho came out of the goal and Eliseo Totakoxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 minutes, Saturnino Mergildo made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Arata FC's Celedonio Sancho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Celedonio Sancho came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Tionso's Saturnino Mergildo. But to his dismay, Saturnino Mergildo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Saturnino Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tionso's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Mergildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Sancho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tionso fully deserved thier win.
