After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Angel Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berraondo's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Figueroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Jeraldo in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Valente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Macario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ahmet Ceyhan Ertüze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Mouricio in the 55th minute of play forced Berraondo's goalkeeper Flavio Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaias Jeraldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Valente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, one of Berraondo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Berraondo. The referee gave Club Sarmiento de leones a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bartolo Havier, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Berraondo's Flavio Valente. 0-6. After having played for 70 minutes, Ahmet Ceyhan Ertüze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sarmiento de leones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Ceyhan Ertüze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaias Jeraldo in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Valente, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice moves Ahmet Ceyhan Ertüze could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Flavio Valente however easily saved by the left post. Ahmet Ceyhan Ertüzes short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Flavio Valente to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Isaias Jeraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Sesuldo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Berraondo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bartolo Havier was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Sarmiento de leones's players had a chance to rest. When the match was over Club Sarmiento de leones could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Berraondo throughout the match.
