Paolo Semeno kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Gerardo Pancho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Darien in the 23rd minute. Alonzo Mikeldi struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Teodosio Atauri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Chicholina. Ignacio Darien came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gerardo Pancho could save by the left post. In the 31st minute, Pedro Mantzio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gerardo Pancho. The goal made the score 2-0. Alonzo Mikeldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Teodosio Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Chicholina's Santo Jokin got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeledon Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonzo Mikeldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Atauri having to interfere. Zeledon Taurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Teodosio Atauri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Jokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Atauri having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeledon Taurino was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Romulo Rivero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerardo Pancho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teodosio Atauri made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Zeledon Taurino sent off a good shot on target. La Chicholina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Jokin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Jokin in the 64th minute of play forced C.A Las Pelotas's goalkeeper Teodosio Atauri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A Las Pelotas! Teodosio Atauri made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Zeledon Taurino sent off a good shot on target. Rio Mayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Atauri having to interfere. After 77 played minutes C.A Las Pelotas got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Ladio. Zeledon Taurino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 78th playminute. La Chicholina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Santo Jokin in the 86th minute. Benito Marques made a great header on La Chicholina's corner, it was just that C.A Las Pelotas's Teodosio Atauri managed to reach the ball for a save. 87 minutes into the match, C.A Las Pelotas's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Mikeldi came free, but Teodosio Atauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Ascencio scored 4-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerardo Pancho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 97 played minutes La Chicholina got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Gudesteo.
