The supporters of El Parque booed when Athletic Qizio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Gilen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romulo Gilen kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Faustino Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Uzuri in the 11th minute of play. Ciro Naelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Bastian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Athletic Qizio's Ulises Bastian in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Parque's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in El Parque's zone, Ulises Bastian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Naelio came out of the goal and Ulises Bastian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Athletic Qizio getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lorenzo Haritzeder hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ulises Bastian made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Athletic Qizio's Ulises Bastian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciro Naelio. Ciro Naelio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Ciro Naelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Gilen in the 64th minute. Romulo Gilen's late challenge caught a El Parque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Gilen helped the player get up and apologised. Romulo Gilen kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Lorenzo Haritzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ciro Naelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Uzuri in the 74th minute of the match. Francisco Fernado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenzo Haritzeder might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Naelio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Haritzeder ran back to his position shaking his head. Honorato Fiz struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Faustino Gamus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Parque. In the 84th minute of the match Bernhard Kaarna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciro Naelio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, El Parque's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Bastian came free, but Ciro Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Naelio made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Ulises Bastian sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulises Bastian got free with Ciro Naelio in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in El Parque's zone, Lorenzo Haritzeder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Naelio came out of the goal and Lorenzo Haritzeder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Athletic Qizio had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
